“Amy and I were taught the importance of volunteering, helping others, and giving back to the community early in our lives by our parents so starting Goldy’s Fund 4 Kids was a natural step for us.”

Goldy’s Fund 4 Kids was started in 2014 as a way for Paul and Amy Goldschmidt to share their passion for helping kids and families at Phoenix Children’s Hospital.

Goldy’s Fund 4 Kids (GF4K) focuses on providing direct help to patients and their families at Phoenix Children’s Hospital, and they want to help inspire others to volunteer and give their time to those in need.  Paul and Amy Goldschmidt started volunteering at Phoenix Children’s Hospital during the winter of 2011, and after seeing the impact many volunteers have on patients at the hospital wanted to find a way to share this passion and help even more families.

Goldy’s Fund 4 Kids inaugural fundraising campaign took place during the 2014 baseball season where fans had the opportunity to purchase Paul Goldschmidt Bleacher Creatures for $44 (Goldy’s uniform number) with all proceeds going directly back to patients at Phoenix Children’s Hospital.  This fundraising campaign has continued for three years and raised thousands of dollars to help families at PCH by providing hands on entertainment and services.

GF4K has been able to donate iPads, gift cards, movies, books, and other entertainment for kids and families to use while at PCH as well as funding and running multiple birthday parties and other themed parties for kids who could not leave the hospital.  The newest flagship fundraiser will be the 1st Annual Goldy’s Bowling Bash taking place this November where guests will get to enjoy a night of bowling and entertainment with their friends, athletes, and celebrities from the Phoenix area.
